Maintain independence.
Sit-to-stand. Stair climbing. Carrying groceries. Picking up a grandchild. We train the exact movements that determine whether you live on your own for another twenty years.
For active adults 50+
Naples has the most extraordinary population of active retirees in America, and most of them are training with equipment and methods built for twenty-five-year-olds. We do it differently. Seventeen years of coaching active adults through strength, balance, and the independence to stay active for decades to come.
The question every first-time visitor over 50 asks, sometimes out loud, sometimes silently. The honest answer: research on aging is unambiguous — the adults who train for strength and balance stay independent the longest, avoid falls at the highest rates, and keep doing the things they love into their eighties and nineties.
The question isn't whether you can train. It's whether you'll find a coach who knows how to train you. That's what CrossFit Blaze is.
Sit-to-stand. Stair climbing. Carrying groceries. Picking up a grandchild. We train the exact movements that determine whether you live on your own for another twenty years.
Resistance training is the most powerful tool against osteopenia and osteoporosis — especially for post-menopausal women. We program bone-density-appropriate loading every week.
Learning new movements builds neuroplasticity. Complex coordination — squats, presses, Olympic lifts — keeps your brain as strong as your body.
Naples can be isolating in retirement. Our 6 AM class has members who've been training together for a decade. You'll make friends, and they'll notice if you skip a week.
Every active adult we've trained reports the same thing: more energy for the rest of the day. Not exhausted — energized. The hour in the gym pays interest all day long.
Knee replacement, shoulder surgery, back issues, heart history — tell the coach before class. Every workout is modified for your body, not a generic senior template.
No contract. No enrollment. Just three classes, scaled to where you are today, with a coach who's been doing this for seventeen years.
You arrive 15 minutes early. The coach shows you around, asks about your history, and explains exactly how the hour will unfold.
A simple screen — how you squat, press, hinge. Nobody's judging. We're just learning what your body can do right now.
The same class as everyone else, but with loads, ranges, and movements calibrated for your level. You'll challenge yourself without wrecking yourself.
Every rep gets eyes. If something doesn't feel right — we change it. This is the whole point of group coaching over a phone app.
The members will introduce themselves before the warmup ends. You'll leave knowing at least three names. This is the quiet superpower.
After three classes, you decide. No sales pitch, no limited-time offer. If we're a fit, you join month-to-month. If we're not, no hard feelings.
Prefer to start privately?
If group class feels like too much on day one — many 50+ adults prefer starting with private sessions. You learn the movements one at a time, at your pace, with full attention from the coach. Transition to group class when (and if) you're ready.
Almost always yes. Tell the coach about your history before class — we adjust movements, loads, and ranges to protect you. Private personal training is the safest starting point for complex histories.
Yes. Every workout has a beginner version. You'll start where your body is, not where someone else's body is. Two weeks in, you'll be surprised at how quickly you adapt.
No. Athletic clothes and a pair of sneakers get you through the first month. If you want lifting shoes or knee sleeves later, we'll tell you — but they're optional.
Two to three times a week is the sweet spot for most adults over 50. Recovery takes longer than it did at 30 — we build enough rest into your week so the work actually sticks.
Very Naples. We offer drop-in packs — $45 for 3 classes, $60 for 5. Or you can freeze a membership for travel windows. Call us and we'll sort it out.

Three free classes to see if the room is right. If personal sessions feel like a better start, that's a conversation we can have too.
